View Full Version : DeNiro Boots: Ottaviano or Ottaviano Aurora?

Jun. 9, 2011, 10:26 AM
Been doing some research in the threads and also posted on smartpak, and seem to have only found one answer - How do these two boots differ? Is there anything different other than the Aurora being already "broken in" when purchased?

To those who have DeNiro Boots, do you just have the Ottos or the Otto Auroras? What would you recommend? The wild side in me wants the one with the brown tops, but that's something I would do if I had a ton of extra money on the side and wasn't saving up to buy a car that isn't broken!

Lastly, do any of you have pictures of these boots IN ACTION (aka, not stock pictures)? What are your reviews?

Bumping up because I'd really like some opinions on the difference of these boots. =)

I have the DeNiro Ottaviano's with the brown top, and I have nothing but great things to say about them!

They required zero break in, fit great and the leather is very durable, I wear mine on a daily basis riding 2 horses at home, and now I am in a working student position where I ride multiple horses and spend all day, every day, in my DeNiro's.

I don't have many pictures of them (most are show pictures in my show boots), but here are a few to kind of give you an idea of how they look. I LOVE that they have a very slim cut ankle, since my ankle generally swims in every other boot, and the spur guard flap seems to be doing a good job of protecting the bottom of the zipper!
