I have flower pots in front of my horses paddocks. I planted marigolds in front of the paddock by one of my horses and today all of the leaves and flowers were eaten. I have a couple of bare stems left and there were 6 flowering plants on Wed.. Who eats marigolds ? We have wild turkeys, bobcats, coyotes and the usual ground squirrels, possuems, moles, rates and mice. Who ate all my marigolds, there are no loose horses ?

I would think it is the assorted rodents rather than anything with a decent sense of smell.......ground squirrels will munch down almost anything including onions and garlic. so your most likely culprit

Slugs. Black slugs, brown slugs, yellow slugs, grey slugs, big slugs, little slugs, spotted slugs, jumping slugs. Look for shiney dried slug slime on the remains of the plants.

Slugs. Get some slug bait and put it in the pots.
