Question for old Long Islanders - what became of Carol Potter (quarter horses, Milton's daughter)?

I believe she got married and moved to ?

Does she still do horses?

Asking on this forum as I think most Long Islanders (esp. back then) are the hunter/jumper sort.

Just wondering.

You can look on the aqha site, she is a judge and it should have her current address. We stabled in her barn for a few years when the potter's still owned it but it must be at least 8 years since she left. I thought she was in florida last I heard.

wow - that's a name from the past. i used to board at her barn in Mid-Island. I was the only dressage rider there, on my big 17 hand tb's amongst the quarter horses. i stuck out like a sore thumb! great times, tho

A blast from the past! My big eq. horse came from Uncle Miltie's (as my trainer called him). So many years ago - could you see a 16 h QH/TB cross doing the Medal/Maclay now and being competitive? he was the best boy.
