I have a new horse (yay!) and subsequently need a new saddle.
I'd prefer one that has smaller blocks and a shallower seat. I've sat in a Passier Antares and really liked it. I'm also going to look at the KN Symphonie if my fitter has one.
I've ridden in a Kieffer Lech, and liked it fairly well, and I have an old Stubben Romanus that I also like but is a pinch too narrow for my new steed. My Wintec Isabell has fallen far out of favor.
I am tall, have a fairly long femur and prefer a narrower twist.
The horse in question is an OTTB with pretty good back conformation - he doesn't appear to present any substantial fitting challenges. However, his top line needs a lot of work, so my my ideal saddle will be adjustable (either manually or by a fitter) to accommodate his changes.
I do not have a huge budget - only about $2k or so.
Appreciate any other suggestions of makes/models I should look at.
