View Full Version : Video of our first canter test! - New Link!

Took my husbands trail horse, a 15 year old Morgan/Percheron mare to a ride-review-ride and did our first canter test! This horse was a mess when we got her, she was given to me by a friend and never really got a chance at actual training, muscle building, etc. Every canter she did was running, rooting, and almost panicking for her. We built her up properly and she is now so much fun and really happy girl!

Just thought I'd share. She's going to a rated show in August, so we are having fun preparing for that with my awesome instructor.

New link for FB users:

Will someone let me know if this works?

I'm working on getting it on Photobucket...The problem is that it won't let me save it from Facebook to my comptuer so I can upload it to another site, and it's on my husbands phone so I need that (and he's away). So annoying! (technology, not my husband :)

Was given this to embed but I don't think it'll work:

<object width="400" height="224" ><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="movie" value="http://www.facebook.com/v/533258664448" /><embed src="http://www.facebook.com/v/533258664448" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="400" height="224"></embed></object>

I tried to upload it to photobucket, but can't get it to load. You should be able to see if even w/out an account, as it's public. I'll keep trying!

I get an error that it's unavailable, so I don't believe it's public. Public does still mean to facebook users, not to the entire world, I believe.

Why not youtube?

I'd love to see it, too, but can't since I'm at work and Facebook is blocked (but not YouTube). I used to event a morgan x Percheron gelding and we did quite well in the dressage - low 30s (high 60s in straight dressage).

I didn't have time to watch the whole thing, but I enjoyed what I did see. So steady! nice work.

I don't have anything to offer critique wise but I thought you two looked great! You made it look so easy and effortless! Ah, now I feel worse about feeling my legs flap about. But great job!
