I am looking for a leadline/walk-trot pony for my toddler. I know good ponies are worth their weight in gold, but there have to be older, safe ponies looking to retire from regular work that would still enjoy this type of extremely light work during their retirement years. How do you find them? They don't seem to get advertised but I know they have to be out there!

I think they are often on the free ponies section of this site, also dependign on where you are, virginiaequestrian.come sometimes has some. I sent you a PM because know a pony who is just a doll and stunning, but needs a retirement home.

Stop by lesson barns within an hour or two of your house and either speak to the trainer or leave a wanted poster.
