I've decided to take a stab at riding bit and bradoon. Measuring the horse's mouth I'm between sizes for a bradoon. Is it better to go up a size or down a size when making the selection?

My first impression is go up a step as that would reduce any tendency to "pinch" at the corners of the mouth.

Sound reasonsing? Any advice would be appreciated. :)

yes--better to go wider so there is room between corners of curb and bradoon.

Your bradoon should definitely be 1/2 a size bigger than your curb
