Our boy won his maiden last night (here is my call :uhoh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSgEr4UN6Nc )

Another poster here had one of her babies win today.

Star crossed weekend?

(Yes ours was a cheap maiden and we had to share - dead heat - but winning is winning, and it has been a LONG time between drinks for my family and me. :) )

And, OMG, I had to chuckle and got a tear listening to your excitement. I'm exactly the same way when "mine" are duking it out in the lane! Isn't it the BEST when they get the win?????

I bred this boy and sold him as a yearling. It was an Ontario-Sired Maiden Allowance.

Better yet, I'm getting Breeders' Awards

Laurie, feeling your pain. Entered one of mine 3 times already...race just won't go. Many of ours will be waiting for Presque Isle to open though. Congrats to everyone on the wins!

I have entered my filly from maiden $12,500 to msw and none of them have gone. Finally decided to enter on the turf since she is md bred and we were sure to get it. Nope, on the ae!

Frustrating! Ours was open allowance going 5 1/2 but we tried to get in going a mile because our gelding will do either. So then tried for open 30k....nope. The only races really going are for 5k.

Congratulations to all the winners!

We ran 3rd in a msw at GP last weekend. That's about as close as we've come lately.

Fort Erie opens this coming Saturday, and if all goes well, we will have two running that day. And if things go even better, we'll get some money!!!!

Congrats to all. I have shown three other people the Bumpy video now, hilarious.

We have had a fabulous last two weeks as breeders, for us anyhow. We have a total of two foals in our 4yo crop. "Sparky" won an allowance last weekend and "Ema" won one yesterday.

1. Private Attack (who is my horsie neighbor)
2. And the Eagle Flys
3. Volle Nolle

Noone else finished the course but everyone (horse and human) made it out intact...
