haha.. RoyalTRider, my school is public-as-public can be... I don't pay a thing except time and disgust.

As far as the stuck up part goes, Salem has 5 or 6 highschools in itself. Each has its designated reputation. West is simply known as the rich school because West Salem houses some of the newest and largest housing developments, and the school itself is located in an "upperclass" area.

I just go there; I'm not rich.



Tomboy- I want to be part of the I hate junior year clique. I can't complain too much though; not only is it my junior year, its also my senior year. I'm graduating on 24 credits this june, much to my own excitement.

Almost fifteen. I started lessons when I was eight and started jumping the same year, but got thrown and although i got back up, I wasn't told to jump again so there was fear, which is why although I jumped, I didn't progress as quickly as I could have. I rode there until I was eleven, then moved to an eventing stable, where I got my horse Teddy. I rode the horse I leased in hunter/ jumper, regular jumper, dressage, combined, and hunter. I got in a car crash just over a year ago now, last December, already having been off for a coupel weeks becasue of an ankle injury and was cleared to ride last June, I believe it was. A few days before, I had moved my horse to an all-boarding stable, where we now train in dressage. Jumpung wasn't my thing; and, when my phys. thearpist hesitated in clearing me to ride, what did it was telling her I wasn't going to jump anymore. I miss the Eventing world and it was a blast, but in a lot of ways I'm more happy now.

I turn 19 in five days. 19 is the legal age for drinking (and other things that I'm not interested in pursuing) in Ontario, so I am very excited! It all goes downhill from here... I'm a once-a-week lesson kid again, but I still love horses. When I showed, I showed hunter at C level shows.

I will be 16 on February 1st. I will then get my permit and start driving my truck (Ford f350 4 door dually). I LOVE my truck I just can't wait to drive it myself!!

ME ME ME!!!!!! I am at an all girls school, i was sent to an all girls summer camp, and now my mom is thinking that there is a summer program (yes, all girls too) that looks like fun. BUT, they have riding! WOOT!

and you have the preppy hand book or know where to find the contents? i need to find out what was said about my school.....

and i just want to mention that when youre the only teenager around the barn.. it gets old. any one else have that experance?

oh tomboy I should have read your post before I added mine! I went to all girl elementary/middle school for 5 years and there were times where it was he|| but others times were great. Now I go to a coed high school but I bet we share some experiences.

And I also am the only teenager at my barn and it has been that way ever since I have ridden. Being a dressage rider makes it hard to find barns with kids and without older women. They can be fun, but sometimes I wish they were more relaxed. oh well!

cool,I don't know how I missed this post for so long!
I turned 18 yesterday. I am mad for dressage.
I go to a very very small private school because the public one but they would not let me miss for horse shows!silly teachers.

oh and I am the only "kid" at my barn too. My trainer teaches another teenager too but she keeps her horses at home. It does get old riding with all the old people all the time,lol, just kidding! http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
