Does anyone know a good place to find used Pessoa Legacy event saddles? I have googled them but have not found much in the used department. Are these just too new to have a market in the used area or do people love them that much??

Yep, they're just too new to the market to be widely available used. I'm only aware of two--I've already PMed you about one and the other was out of your stated budget so I didn't see fit to mention it:

There are a number of Pessoa Legacy XLs and XP3s on the used market, but the flap won't be quite as forward as on the Event model. Still a very suitable flap for most riders up to Training Level, even Prelim depending on the seat size and your leg. ETA unlike the Event model, the XL and XP3 are foam panelled.

There are also a number of Pessoa Blyth Tait Event saddles on super duper clearance, but the 17's and 17.5's have largely been snapped up. The flap on the Blyth Tait is about as forward as on the XL and XP3.

Are the Blyth Taits what I am looking for? I am thinking of checking on that Dominus you sent and a used Pessoa...

The Blyth Tait and the 4 Star Event are coming out of the same supplier, English Riding Supply, and from the panel downward they're a very similar saddle. You've said that you already have a local friend with a 4 Star Event that you can try on the horse, so I can't see why you'd want to blow shipping money to bring in a Blyth Tait too. ;)

If I were in your shoes, I'd be far more likely to chase down a Pessoa Event than a Blyth Tait or even a 4 Star Eventing. Your odds of fitting the horse in question are significantly better with the Pessoa Event. JMHO of course.

I think I am going to dig really hard to find the Legacy Event. That's why I posted here thinking I could get a lead on one. I like the look of it moreso and the way it looks for my fit. I have a friend who has ridden in them and would love to by herself another one when she gets out of school. I will send you a pic if I can find one! Let the search begin! I feel pretty confident in the direction you've sent me. Probably wont do the 4 star unless I have friends, and hopefully a legacy event for the fitter to come check out.

Best of luck finding one. I like mine a lot. HOWEVER...I do have a cautionary tale to tell. Check the stirrup bars on any used one you find. Or question carefully when any brand new one was manufactured. You want one made in '09 or later.

Just throwing out that the Kent&Masters and the Fairfax are changeable gullet saddles made in Walsall. They are well made and have a slightly lower price point. http://www.hastilowusa.com/shop/index.php?action=category&id=1&subid=20

and assume this was one of the ones that jn4jenny told you about:
