the horse's boots- i mean.
i really liked these- they were low profile and molded well but couldn't see a brand mark... anyone?

looks a bit like Veredus open fronts..not sure...maybe an older one.

My immediate first guess was also veredus, but I don't remember them ever having the orange nor the striped elastic. I'm guessing it is a European brand. His sponsor is Cavalor (on the saddle pad and they don't make boots ).

Another thought is Hexa-Pro http://www.hexa-horse.fr/?currentPage=CollectionPro, but it doesn't look quite right either

Who cares what the brand is...they totally match his jacket & that's what really matters!!!:cool::winkgrin:

lol 3dazey...

i looked at all the verdeus- but nope.

i thought i remembered him saying before he entered the ring that it was a new brand to the US that he was helping to promote...just wish i remembered what he said! i really liked those dang boots! you can blow the pics up really well on that site but there still doesn't seem to be a brand marking anywhere.

the mystery continues!

That was my thought! I thought this guy looks fantastic! I love his helmet, his jacket, AND the boots! I don't think I'd turn down the horse, either. What kind of helmet is that?

Another option: http://www.kentucky-horsewear.com/en/products/view/10?img=GERA-TENDON-BOOTS_03.jpg

though they don't have the elastic

but I am voting, this company in custom colors: http://www.ericmondange.com/guetres5.html

Since the rider in the photo is Michael Pollard, why not send him an email on his web site (if he has one) and ask.

I looked for his website... does he have one? I couldn't find it.

Usually you can figure out who makes their tack by looking at their list of sponsors (like Allison Springer's breastplate from the fork, for example, is made by one of the subsidiaries of her sponsor: World Equestrian Brands (http://www.worldequestrianbrands.com/)).

Alas... this does not seem to solve the problem in this case, but in case you are looking in the future, that's my little trick!

You could try contacting the photographer, as presumably s/he has his contact info.

And I wouldn't be shy about contacting him about the boots, especially if you heard he's trying to promote them! He'll probably be tickled that you noticed his sartorial style!

I think they look like the Kentucky Horsewear boots that scubed posted; they look exactly the same, if you blow up the pic.

Hi everyone,

You are always welcome to call me:)

These are in fact Kentucky horseware and I love them. I have gotten in touch with the owners and have ordered a shipment, which will include the event boots(tried them at the fork...really nice). We saw these in Germany at the equestrian expo, and they live up to the hype. They have no us distributor so I am bringing them over to gauge the market. I'm not really looking for another job, but these are maybe too good to pass up!

All the best: Michael

They look a lot like EquiFit boots to me. when I looked at the close up it looked like the removable T-Foam liners that they have. They also have the striped elastic.

They are new to the U.S. I'm pretty sure, I talked to one of their reps as a event that I filmed.

I couldn't find those on their website tho.

Those Kentucky boots look sweet, love the orange logo. Thanks for clarifying Michael
