View Full Version : Florida Horse owners - University survey on Pest control!

Apr. 10, 2011, 10:25 PM
I realized this was in off course, but it seems to fit more with horse care since there is a lot of talk of facility care here as well.....This survey is open for the next few months, hoping to get at least 500 respondents..

Please email to friends, family, businesses, whomever you think would be willing to respond!

This survey is part of a research project being conducted through the Entomology and Nematology Department at the University of Florida.

Currently, little research funding is provided to answer insect pest questions on horses and horse farms. Many owners, breeders, trainers and riders don't know that their concerns matter!

Your participation is highly appreciated to help direct future pest control projects on equestrian facilities and to provide the support necessary to support grant applications.

Thank you very much for your participation and accuracy! If you have any questions, please contact Erika at irishtangerine@ufl.edu.

Current counties being surveyed are: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Brevard, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Hillsborough, LaFayette, Lake, Levy, Madison, Marion, Nassau, Osceola, Orange, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwanee, Taylor, Union, and Volusia.
