I recently purchased a used bridle that was originally lined with "london tan" (that really light colored) leather. It has a distinct green tint, I'm guessing from sweat? I'm not sure, anyway before I attack it with my plethora of cleaning items and oils is there a sure fire way to approach this to get most of the green gone?

I've noticed that many linings have been dyed...so you might not have any impact on that type of color.

Undyed leather that has "gone green" does so IME because too much water has been used on it.

This is what I was thinking. Or, it got stored away when it wasn't fully dry? I think I have seen what you are talking about around the buckles of bridles that have been stored with too much moisture...
