I'm new to the state/area so thought I'd post here to see if anyone knows of a horse that would fit or has a contact they could share.

I am looking for a special horse to add to our lesson program. We are an upscale barn that caters to English and Western students beginner through advanced. Our program is very small, and none of our horses do more than one lesson a day. We value our lesson horses and treat them as well (maybe better!) than our own private mounts. Each of our lesson horses stays tuned up through professional riding. I do have some very stringent criteria regarding what I'm looking for.

Horse should be:

8 - 15
16hh - 17hh
suitable for beginners w/t and learning to canter
excellent barn manners
quiet and steady in the ring w/riders of all levels
Prefer a horse that can go English and Western but not a necessity.
Would like it to be trail safe but ring work is most important
Soundness does matter, show record and jumping do not
breed and color unimportant
Up to $8,500

The horse does not need to have lesson experience but should have experience with young riders and first time riders and have the ability to deal with riders who may have fear, anxiety or nervousness when around horses.

Thank you for your help in finding our next superstar!
