Damn yearlings. :D

Every door latch on my barn has been wrecked by the monsters and I want to rehang all the doors this year and replace the latches.

Anyone got a good source for this type of thing with an on line catalog?

Look for a thread I started here about latches - it might be useful.

In the meantime, I actually ended up going with one like this, from Lowe's
http://hardware.hardwarestore.com/73-436-barn-door-pulls-and-latches/door-and-gate-sliding-bolt-latch-125804.aspx

Mine is different though (and of course I cannot find it on Lowe's site) - each open/closed position of the latch has a piece it fits over, so in either position you could put a padlock/eye snap through it to keep it from being opened. I chose this model over the more traditional type as this has no curved end piece to the sliding part which which to catch a horse's hide.
