The NSHHF just announced the inductees for 2011. They are:

Olin Armstrong
W. Gary Baker

Navy Commander
Quiet Flite
Horse Show:
Pennsylvania National
Hunter Derby
International Hunter Derby Finals.

I remember both of those great show hunters, and Rodney Jenkins showing Quiet Flite.

Olin Armstrong just might be the best h/j rider I have ever seen.

I've been doing the dressage thing for about 10 years, but I used to see him all the time when I was showing the h/j/eq stuff.

Most memorable time was at Lexington. He was doing either the low or high prelim jumpers. His horse loped around the 1st round of that big jumper course like it was a 3' hunter course.

Truly something to behold.

Hooray for Olin! He is amazing. I have a video of him riding in KY 13 years ago, but I still watch it the night before every horse show. Def my riding idol.
