Any recommendations for reputable insurance providers for dressage horses?

We have used them and they were very good to deal with when we have had any claims.

I'm with Cheval (http://www.chevalinsurance.com/). I got quotes from Markel and Great American, but they were much more expensive. Cheval was great when my horse tore his SI ligament and needed stem cell. Paid all the bills quickly, and even called to check and see how he was doing.

Have been with them several years and have only good things to say. They recognize my name when I call, even though I've never met them in person and usually talk with them only at renewal time. Have been great at helping me sign up for the right coverage, and not sign up for features I don't really need.

They placed my coverage with Great American. Recently I had my first claim of any size. Great American actually called to remind me to send them the bill. All I had to do was scan and email it, no forms. They processed it the same day they got it, check was in the mail.
