I'm breaking down and getting a Stackhouse. I'm the "princess and the pea" when it comes to saddles and my horse is very difficult to fit. And after realizing my current saddle doesn't fit me quite right but not sure exactly why not, I've reached a major decision.

So, for those who have gone down this route, can you please give me "lessons learned"? What should I be sure to do -- everything from what to wear at the appointment, to what information to be sure to share with him, to what leather choices/options I should go for or avoid?

All suggestions welcome.

lessons learned? I waited far to long to have David and Leslie out to fit me and my horses!!

David will prepare you for the fitting appointment. I wore my breeches and boots.

Have fun! They are lovely to work with!
