View Full Version : Just a little brag on my large pony!

Mar. 24, 2011, 09:48 PM
I previously posted pics on COTH of my 4y/o Welsh/TB who came from fellow COTHer erinmeadowsllc.
He's started over fences and has just been phenomenal! Here are a few pics from his first outdoor jump school...first roll top, mini swedish oxer, and first course.
Feel free to critique...just keep in mind he's only ever jumped little crossrails and verticals before this..

OMG sooo cute!
He looks like a mini version of my horse (your guy has a fancier jump though!)
Here's my guy:

Cutie patootie! You'll get no critique from me of such a cool pony. :)

Thanks sooo much for all the kind words! Bailey is truly one in a million! He was a charm to break, easily the softest mouth I've ever ridden, and when these pictures were taken he had had two weeks off and it was freezing cold! His jump form is completely natural as I've only put him over fences minimally and only cross rails and little verticals.
I don't have any recent videos of him right now..only ones from about a month after he was broke and he looks like a completely different pony now.
Oh! And as if he isn't wonderful enough, I discovered that he loves to trail ride (by himself or in company) and he even walked over a scary bridge we have on our farm property. I give so much credit to Julie at Erin Meadows for this pony's future success!!
