So it's the time of year when my horses are starting to sweat like crazy (I live in Houston haha). After I ride, they have sweat through a clean, (nice thickness) saddle pad and halfpad and the bottom of my saddle is soaking wet when I get off.
Does anyone else have this problem and if so, how do you keep the bottom of your saddle pad from looking like you tie-dyed it? Just soap it after each ride or what? Also, what do you use to get the nasty sweat off?

Thanks!

These come in big squares for under western saddles but are easily cut to fit under your square or fitted pad. I use them for trail riding all the time and they work great.
