View Full Version : World Dressage Masters - purse breakdown?
Mar. 8, 2011, 12:29 PM
I know the breakdown is €10,000 ($13,000) for Grand Prix, €30,000 ($39,000) for Grand Prix Special, and €60,0000 ($78,000) for the Freestyle, but I am wondering how each purse is distributed amongst the top placing riders.
Anyone know? I didn't see the info on the WDM web site.

No one knows where to find this info?
Do just the top three finishers in each test win the cash? Is it 50% for 1st place, 35% for 2nd place, and 15% for 3rd place?

So nobody knows? Is this info only available on the prize list?

It says in the prize list on the website that "ribbons & money prizes will be awarded to 25% of entries as per FEI rule 129.3"
So I guess you have to go to the FEI website to figure it out.

I have still not been able to locate this info.
The rules on the FEI website will not load for me - they are PDFs, and I am getting a "file damaged, cannot be loaded" message.
It is quite odd that this information is so hard to find. Even Dressage Daily and Dressage-news.com have not posted the prize money breakdown.
