The discussion on the Eventing board about David O'Connor being (and Law) being short listed for the Chef D'Equipe position got me to thinking. I mean, they're up in arms about the process, and yet it appears the top candidates are truly the best and top ones around who can really help the team.

In dressage, we had a GREAT Chef D'Equipe in Klaus. I think he did as much for our independent-minded dressage riders as anyone could.

Does anyone here have a problem with how we select our dressage Chef D'Equipe?

You are in the very small minority of people who feel that way.

Whatever, LS. Maybe I'm just one of the normally silent majority. I don't think that the boards out here are the places to find representation of the majority opinions in our sport(s).

I think that our dressage selection process (for Chef D'Equipe) have been pretty good in the past.

who is our dressage Chef right now?

and how was that person chosen?

(fair warning, this is a trick question)
