Here is a link to an article with photos in the AQHA magazine about two riders and their Quarter Horses who recently made The Dressage Foundation's Century Club.

My QH was the horse that got me hooked on dressage, and I've gone on with my unregistered TBxQH.

I showed a 15.2 quarter horse in a ring full of tall leggy TB hunters on the va beach hunter circuit. We ALWAYS, got our strides right - that little guy could lengthen or shorten strides like nobody's business. A great little horse. NOBODY where I was riding did dressage, all hunters, but they never could figure why my guy was so handy. hint... wait for it..... oh, yes, a solid dressage foundation DOES make it easier to ask your horse the questions. We placed consistently in the top three in our classes, even though neither my horse or myself was the "hunter type" (we were both short and kinda round). Quarter horses are wonderfully versatile, no reason they can't do dressage.
