I looked but I don't see anything. I thought there was a sep section on the old entry forms (which I never had to worry about before).

Are there any additional FEI memberships / registrations required for the rider, owner, or the horse?

thanks !

Nope. There are separate memberships to show in CDIs- but not to show in FEI classes at regular competitions.

Fantastic

Congratulations on making it to FEI! That is so awesome! What level will you be competing? Not sure if you are into freestyles, but just wait until you get to do intermediare freestyles - what fun! I have yet to do a GP freestyle. Hopefully some day!

If you are competing national FEI, then nope - no extra fees.

However, if you are competing international FEI - CDI's - then you have to have a USET membership and a passport. When I got mine years ago I believe I spent around $800 for all of that. You also have to have your vet fill out the passport and follow the strict vaccination rules and documentation. Not sure what the cost is now.

Best of luck to you! Happy riding! :)

Well - there's these forms for USEF:

http://www.usef.org/documents/membership/2011/FEIRiderReg.pdf

http://www.usef.org/documents/membership/2011/FEIHorseReg.pdf

We had to make sure my trainer had these registrations up to date before competing at the FEI levels.

Those forms are only if competing at FEI-sanctioned shows, such as CDIs. They are not needed to show the FEI levels at national (USEF-licensed) shows.

Not sure if they are needed for the USEF High Performance stuff.
