Do any of you know any US distributors of Samshield Helmets? They are insanely expensive, but look gorgeous and are supposedly very comfy (better be for the price:lol:)

On their website, they show only one contact in USA. My friend has one, and she bought hers at one of the Wellington show vendors. I have been looking into them. I think I saw $600 or so. Is that what you see? No way will I pay that much for a helmet.

I tried one on as well as the GPAs and Charles Owens when it was time for a new helmet and I cannot say enough good things about them!!!! The Samshields are so comfy it is insane, huge difference, no more tightness over my forehead. I am not sure of distributers, but the local tack shops in LA got them in as soon as they were approved here in the US.

I imagine you could order thru your local tack shop even if they don;t have them in stock?

LA Saddlery has them. When they came in I HAD to try them on! They had a pretty big selection at the time, and the girls fit my little pea head with no problem. I believe they are around $500 for the stock helmets?
