View Full Version : Help with size of tree in Amerigo saddle?

I need some help understanding tree widths for Amerigo saddles. I'm accustomed to hearing narrow, med/narrow, medium, med/wide, and wide..... But when shopping for Amerigos, I see 4 + 1.5, etc. Can anyone translate?

Med = 0 (or more typically, it says nothing at that point in the serial number)
MW = +1.5
Wide = +2.5

You can guess what medium-narrow and narrow are, right? :)

While we're on this topic, the flap notation is

N = normal flap, NOT narrow tree as many people misinterpret it to mean
L = long flap
XL = extra long

I've actually never seen an Amerigo short flap but I know they do make one. I assume it says "S" but like I said, never seen one with my own eyes.
