With all of this snow I'm not getting any riding done, so I thought I would try to educate myself my watching videos. Does anyone know of any good YouTube videos?

I'm training a coming-6-yo. We're currently at TL. He's on the lazy side. I'm having trouble with our canter depart and I have a variety of position issues.

So, anything specific for us would be great, but any good training/riding videos would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's plenty of them... I perticularly like to watch the "Dressage Clinic" clips!!!...just go on youtube, type in dressage clinics and if you scroll through them you can find some specificly on canter departs...but you'll probablly want to sample the smorgusboard! "Dressage training will have alot to choose from to but I prefer to learn things I have not confirmed yet by a well respected clincian! Love S. Peters clinics!!! He is such an excellent teacher!! Robert Dovers are very good and fun too!...ENJOY!!;)

If you click the double arrows beside the pause sign you will see other rider sessions as well. Enjoy. :)

Go to youtube and search on Jane Savoie. She has very generously posted many free instructional videos. Also check out her website

She also has a membership site Dressagementor.com that is very helpful as well

There is a clinic with Steffen Peters & Janet Foy, going through all the levels. Janet will have horse & rider go through the new movements at each level and give them a score and Steffen will help them make it better.

Canadian Olympian Belinda Trussell has done a whole series of 2-3 minute clips with great training tidbits.
