Does anyone know the name/brand of protective boots that were sold at WEG in the Indoor building that used Memory Foam? They also sold bamboo saddle pads and the like. They only had Open Fronts for sale at WEG, but said they were making X country galloping boots, and they looked bery interesting!
Thanks!

Hello chestnutwithchrome:

Yes - EquiFit is the boot. They were being sold with Bit of Britain at WEG and you likely spoke with Meg about a x-country boot that is in the works.

This company also had memory foam boots but was still developing the XC version. They had some very interesting stuff!

Can someone tell me the theory behind putting memory foam in a horse boot and how it would be helpful? I get the concept in a mattress, but not in a protective boot. Does it have particular shock absorption or breathability properties? This is an honest question, my science brain needs info! Thanks! :-)

These are the ones I was thinking of!! They looked cool. I am hoping they have some xc ones to bring to Rolex. The price was reasonable and they looked well made.
