It's official - Phillip Dutton will be teaching an ICP jumping symposium at Paradise Farm, Monday February 7th.

From the USEA website:

PHILLIP DUTTON
Teaching Cross-Country Event Riding, Training, and Competing
with Emphasis upon Teaching as well as Riding

Join Capt. Mark Phillips to watch, listen, and discuss as Phillip teaches cross-country event riding and jumping to 3 groups, Training/Preliminary level through Advanced level, with the first group starting at 9 a.m.

• Ride the cross-country gallop at various speeds in a balanced and secure position.
• Develop rider and horse adjustability.
• Find the balance for jumps of different shapes, sizes, lines, terrain, combinations.
• Approach, jump, and ride away from galloping and technical fences.

This would be a really fun way for all of us to get together...I wonder how you get to ride in the symposium. Not me, since I'm still aiming to get to BN! But it would be so much fun to be part of this...oh well, I'll just do it from the ground! Truly, let's all go!!!
