View Full Version : Ok, is this BIT legal?

I've been trying out new bits on my horse, and he seems to really like a Dewsbury bit the best so far. The problem is I'm not sure whether it's dressage legal. Thoughts? (link below)

You might want to edit your subject line to say is this "bit" legal, rather than "but." Unless you meant you objected to something and wanted to find an excuse that started with "but." :D

I would say no, ported bits are not legal. It's a shame because some horses prefer them....I have one of them.

I think Bit of Britain has a bit rental program. Your horse might like a Myler Comfort snaffle which is legal

The caption says it is eventing legal but I believe it is dressage legal also

FWIW, I'm not currently using mine....if I can find it
