View Full Version : Stumped... can't find rolled caveson.

I've have been on a hunt for one of these darn things for over 2 months! Here's my issue...

If I can find a rolled caveson, it's not black, or in an Arab or pony size like I need. Checked Schneider's, no black...

My Arab will fit in a Cob sized bridle, but his tiny nose is still too small for a Cob caveson. Hope someone has the answer! :yes:

Try JustBridles.com. She can often find things through her sources that I can't find on my own. :)

Do you have an Amish or Mennonite community near you?

If you ask around it is generally not hard to get custom leather work in one these areas. Find somebody that does quality work (just like everywhere, they are not all equal), show them what you want - an actual example is best if they haven't made one before - and give them the size. You can get a custom piece for a very reasonable price.

You might try to see if Victor's out in Scottsdale, Az. is still in business. They used to have some lovely things for Arabians.

That's so funny, this is the bridle I want to buy! The measurements still seem too large though! Even though I have to admit I haven't actually measured the horse... :no:

You think there's enough room to punch a hole? Because I'm totally willing! :)

You might also contact them and ask if they have it in Cob. Sometimes everything is not on the website and it mentions cob in the description.

Cob is too big... That's my issue he needs Arab or Pony in the caveson.
