Anyone do this? My feed store has a great deal on a pallet of wood bedding pellets and I was wondering if it would be okay to leave it outside uncovered or if I would need to keep it tarped. Or I suppose I could find space for it in the garage but DH might not love that idea...

They're pretty well sealed, and even if they do get wet, just spread them and use them within a decent amount of time (will mold eventually if wet in bag).

Depends on bag type. I'd stack on pallet and tarp.

They found a lot of dead birds around a site in Canada....turns out for some reason the birds were eating some of the pellets and they were expanding in the bird's stomachs and killing them :( I would cover them with a tarp and that should keep the critters away and the rain too. I LOVE the pellets.
