View Full Version : A brag...sorry, please don't shoot me

Remember the trail horse I bought in February? Here's the current product...
He had a great finals and I'm just really proud of him! He was way better than I was!

He's really cute! You guys look great.... no need for shooting you; looks like you both are doing well and having fun. Give him a big hug.

what a cutie! good work :)

I wasn't around here then... I am assuming the shooting would be because you bought a horse who was being sold as a trail horse, but is that incredibly adorable and good at his new job?

Really cute guy! What a great find!

I think the shoot me comment was because she was posting a brag, not because of the horse.

Thanks everybody! He has taken everything we've thrown at him this year so well and I am just so excited for next year to finally have a horse of my own to do this with.

The "don't shoot me" comment was just that I didn't know if brag threads got annoying. But then, who else would understand? :)

And yes, he is being spoiled the last few days with apples and treats and hugs!

A post like this is NEVER annoying. You two look fabulous.

Congrats! We saw your hunter hack class - you all did great despite the pony-antics in the ring! :D

God he's GORGEOUS!!! Thanks for posting and NOT wasting his obvious talent and beauty being a trail horse! (Not that there's anything wrong with trail horses.....)

Thank you guys so much! I'm almost crying (happy tears) from you're responses. He came off a dude ranch in Jan and I bought him in Feb. Bred and raised on the ranch so all he'd ever done was pack tourists around and follow the tail in front of him. I'm still getting used to the fact that I'm going to have a horse that nice.

KateKat: I heard about the antics from a friend (involved in said antics) but, honest, I never saw a thing. One thing about my first trainer and the podunk shows I grew up doing: I can handle traffic!

He's adorable! Do you know what breed he is? QH?

How awesome! What a cute little hunter he makes! I love stories like this...taking the underdog and making him/her into something so special. Congrats!

I know his daddy: a QH reining horse. I don't know anything about his mama except that she was much taller than his daddy, who is large pony/hony size. We're guessing she was a TB, based on his build.

He's adorable! Do you know what breed he is? QH?
