Can anyone recommend a good trainer to start my TB colt next year? I live in Albany, NY area and would like to be involved so can't be too far. Does not have to be discipline specific. Please feel free to PM me.

Thanks!

Hi there, I have been in the Albany area (and horse world) for over 30 yrs. Is there anything specific you are looking for? Hunter, Eq, jumper and etc? I can point you in the right direction if I know what your looking for. I am a newbie here on COTH and trying to figure out how to PM!

LeAnn Kelly is a great trainer/teacher. She can break your young horse and teach him/her anything from jumping to getting ready for the track. Like 25 minutes east of Albany.

Yes, I agree. Good trainer and been in the business for a long time. I always wondered if she was related to Sandy and Monty Kelly?
