I recently moved to the greater dc area for work. The job is in Alexandria and I'm currently living in Chantilly. I am late 20's and it's been a while since I have been riding seriously. I am looking for a barn to start taking lessons from that can kick my rear end back into shape and reestablish some really good basics. I am not looking to start showing competitively again, just start riding again. Any suggestions on where to go?

Living in Chantilly, Cavallo Farm is close.

There are others in Centerville and near Manassas, but as I have my own farm, I only know a few, and I often haul over for lessons at Cavallo. Very nice group and quite a few just-out-of college have come back to ride with Michael again.

Try googling the Leesburg, Loudoun Co. area. When I lived in Chantilly there were lots of places up there. Not far from Chantilly, either.

Also, try MEA Haven at Fox Chase in Middleburg. Their website is meafarm.com.
