zone 2 and zone 10 yearlings are in a race to see who can attend the most shows.

zone 10's 3 year old has been to 23 shows this year.

Why bother?

It looks as if most are in the Sacramento area - Rancho Murrietta equine center to be more exact. If they live close it is easy to get to and easy to come in for the day if that helps to know why they would go to that many shows. I'm pretty sure that both the yearling and the 3 year old are owned by locals there.

Just to better help you understand how close all those shows are. We attend several different shows in the Sacramento area and stay at the same hotel for them. Elk Grove, Brookside, Leones, and Rancho Murrietta are all within 15 miles of each other.

still, 20 competitions for a yearling? shameful.
