I saw him at the Kentucky Cup, and he was so much better than the other horses there it was like watching cream against skim milk. He outshone every other horse, including Mademoiselle, by a lot.

I had figured he was going to be the next Judgment or Authentic and would definitely make the WEG team. Then he vanished sometime during the summer. Is he hurt? Or has he been sold on? He definitely didn't go on the last European rotation with Beezie Madden. There is no recent news about him on the Madden sales website.

His USEF record says he last showed in Italy in May. Wonder if he's just relaxing until the winter season starts?

"Danny Boy earned a spot on the long list for the World Equestrian Games Team and headed to Europe to compete this summer to try and secure a place on the final WEG Team. Unfortunately, Danny Boy spent some time off this summer with an illness. He has fully recovered and will head to Florida for WEF 2011."

That's super! Sticking my neck out, but I predict he'll make the 2012 Olympics and do really, really well. He has everything it takes to be truly one of the greats.

Thanks for their website!!! I'm a huge Beezie fan so I can't wait to spend a few minutes looking at their website.

Ditto that. I want to steal Via Volo, what a lovely mare.

I saw him at the Kentucky Cup too. He was awesome. I wondered where he was as well. Thanks for posting this.
