A friend of mine saved a beautiful horse from the Camelot feed lot. We know nothing about him, but he looks like he was well cared for and he is clipped around the face. So hoping maybe he was showing and some might recognize him!!!

However she is completely stumped on what to call him!!! If you have any suggestions please list them and I will show them to her!!! She is so excited! She will get to meet him for the first time on Tuesday!

Good question..please make sure Mapleshade sees these pics. Something about that horse is familiar to me.

Looks like his ears are also trimmed. Yes, obviously well cared for. How on earth did he end up there? So sad.

Any way to post the pic for those of us (I know I'm in the minority) who are FB holdouts? Plus, my company blocks the site.

What about a "Camelot" theme?

"King Arthur"
"Knight of the Round Table"

Or from the musical lyrics

"A More Congenial Spot"

Kind of long.... :) maybe just "Congenial Spot"

New links up!!!

As of right now he is still in transport and will arrive in VA tomorrow. So I think I am going with my friend to see him this weekend, but Ill get her to ask the people when he arrives to look.

He looks like a Percival to me.

And who knows how he ended up there....there've been horses in auction lots still braided from shows, never mind just clipped and well-fed. Poor guy, at least he's on his way someplace nicer.

Thanks everyone she is thrilled to own such a handsome boy! He has officially arrive in VA today and is spending the next month in QT. We did discover though that he has a Tattoo and are waiting to get future information. So hopefully I will have a registered name to provide!!

Jockey club has an interactive webb page all you have to do is register..FREE...put in the letter and numbers play round with it sometimes an 8 is a 5 or a 5 is a 6..year color sex and match to letter for age..I just did one last night!!!

If you get super stumped the JC may help you narrow it doen by markings, star snip leg socks etc............
