Hi! I'm looking for some recommendations jumper trainers to trailer my horse in for lessons. We would be in the southern Warren county/northern Hunterdon County area. He's currently doing the level 0s. Also, for any people that do trailer in top a farm for lessons, what is your experience with this? Do you feel very separated from the farm activities?

Try Laura Chapot, she is in Neshanic Station. She is great and they are very easy to trailer into. She has a bunch of people ship in and is so nice and knowledgeable! Everyone is great and you learn a ton. I have never felt like an outsider as a ship in, it's a friendly group for sure. The only down side is that they go to Florida for WEF, so if you are wanting lessons during that time you are out of luck. On the other hand if you want to go to Florida, it is perfect! I highly recommend giving her a try and seeing how you like her.

Alicia Madretzke is my trainer, she's in Pittstown NJ and has several students who are competitive in the jumpers locally. She's an excellent trainer, and I think would be happy to teach a ship-in lesson. Her website is www.whitmere.net.

I rode at both of these farms, and was very happy with the way I was treated. I was not shipping in.

All of the suggestions in this thread are good ones.
