Hi! I have never heard of this website, or the magazine before. I stumbled across it from someone mentioning it on another board.
Anyhow, I was thoroughly discouraged by your classifieds. I understand that you don't want the website to interfere with the magazine ads, but the ad prices are rediculous!
Perosnally, I think the ads should be unlimited, free, and be open for discussion, just like on ANY OTHER forums. You should charge for stallion ads, transport company ads, and any other "commercial" ads. These ads won't compete with your magazine ads as it is directed at a different audience.
I won't advertise anything here unless it is free. But even so, I'm unlikely to sell anything as I'm from Canada anyhow, and it looks like this is mainly a US board. I might BUY something from the classifieds, but it's so difficult to navigate the threads as the location of the items isn't listed in the title. So unless something changes, I'm unlikely to bother visiting the Classifieds forum again.
