Borrowed Freedom Equine Assisted Therapies and Activities, Inc. is pleased to announce that our Pumpkin Farm and Fall Festival has been scheduled for October 16th - 30th, 2010 and is open to families with special needs throughout the Southern Tier, Central NY and the Northern Tier of PA.

We will have games, demonstrations, crafts and fun. Hundreds of pumpkins will line our trails and our amazing team of therapy horses and farm animals will be there to walk along with you as you enjoy the day. Paco will be out and about for petting and pictures and Rye and Firefly both will have some new tricks to show you. Shadow is hard at work for a vaulting demo too! Meet some of our chickens and ducks and visit with Wellie and Scooter rabbit. We will have local apples, gluten free baked goods, yummy candy apples and so much more.

The hours are 1pm – 5pm (weather permitting) October 16th – the 30th. October 16th through the 23rd has been reserved for group visits. If you have a group of 10 or more, please call us to schedule a group tour.

We are looking to the community to help us make this event a tremendous success. This event is the largest fundraiser we host each year and the proceeds are needed if we are to continue to provide our services at no charge. We will need many volunteers to help us build displays, paint pumpkins, assist families and man the game booths, bake sale, and more. We do have sponsorship opportunities as well, please call us for more information 607-658-3298 or visit our website at www.borrowedfreedom.org.
