Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm pricing out fence, and horseguard is almost double the Kiwi. I've heard nothing but good from horseguard, but i'm just checking into more cost effective options. If less expensive tape doesn't seem like an option, I might just go with horseguard and cheap insulators.

I've used it, but I don't remember how long it lasts-I know at least 10 years. UV will break down the white material before anything happens to the conductors, but the fence will keep kicking until you change it because of the way it looks. I haven't used HorseGuard so I have no direct comparison.

We use this sort of tape all the time here in NZ. I like the Gallagher brand, but all are pretty much the same. Works a treat.
