Perhaps there is nothing cuter than new baby goats.. These were born yesterday. Apparently the male goat escaped on Valentine's Day and Ruffles and Rosie both welcomed his visit. The babies were all born within 24 hours of each other.

Wicked cute babies!!!!!

And wicked cool goat beard with the white stripe!

So how hard is it to not keep picking those babies up and squeezing them? ;)

Every Summer for the last 6 years I go to the County Fair and drool over the goats. Last year I came this close to buying a runt tricolor Nubian cross wether.
This could the year I cave.

Just promise me I will not have to have barbacoa if I find goatling dancing on my new truck that lives outside.

I have to warn you 2Dogs.. I had a very cute goat who use to get the dogs wound up and they would all run rings around the truck. He would then jump up on the hood of it while the dogs would continue to race around it thinking they were chasing him <g>

This is why I don't have any yet -- not until the garage is enclosed! I can only imagine what would happen if DH found goat prints all over his pretty silver sports car...

I considered tying them out, but figured the local coyotes and bobcat would say, "Look! Someone left us lunch on a string!"

Are they Nigerian Dwarfs? I raised and showed Alpines when I was in 4H a million years ago. I want goats again, but my dogs would not appreciate them, nor, I think would Mr. CC.

Nothing cuter than a baby goat. Nothing. Such personalities, such loving loyalty to humans, such huggable little beings.
