Nice article on Tbs, but who is John100 can we get rid of this?

Back to our regular program. . .
I wonder if rescue articles could talk more about the "trip to Mexico" or Canada that takes the horsese to the slaughter house. People don't see how horrific it is to ship a horse there. They think, "so horses are used for food", so what?"

Harrigan's fate brought tears to my eyes and broke my heart. It's really the suffering that is the most egregious part for me and it "talks" to people who don't know.

Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful article and kudos to them for running it, but for me preventing the suffering is the most important part. It's not like the horses get put down humanely if they're not rescued or find a home.
