I have a small barn with a center aisle. I'm in New England and really only need fans about a month out of the year.

I've been using box fans but I really like the idea of aisle fans so I can move them around to optimize flow.

What are the best fans? Would Farmtek be the place to go?

I'm interested in the ones that are free-standing, on a pole (vs. the ones that are lower to the ground).

Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of high velocity fans on the market. Just check your hardware store, even walmart has them - at least here.

a stand is good, but not especially needed IMO.

We have one of these in the barn aisle. It's awesome :-)

And there's a TSC in Milford NH which isn't too far away!

I looked at Farmtek and although I saw some nice fans, the shipping was 50% the cost of the fan! Sigh.

Thanks! May be taking a trip to TSC soon. :D

Ditto, hurricane in a box!

Make sure you clean the barn aisle before you turn it on "high" for the first time, or that hurricane will become a dust storm.
