I'm actually a dressage rider, but I'm moving to Miami and it looks to be H/J land there. Can anyone recommend a barn (or places to stay away from!)? Just from internet searches, I have found Miami Equestrian Center, Heavenly Acres, and Southwinds Equestrian Center. Any opinions or other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

None are dressage oriented....trying Southwest Ranches about 35 minutes North off I-75, Dancing Horses or Michelle Herrmann in Plantation

Try contacting Joanna Jodko, a local photographer and dressage enthusiast. You won't find a "dressage barn", but there are some smaller, private farms that might work for you. Here's her website (don't know if I'm allowed, so please excuse me).....jjodkophoto.exposuremanager.com

Also try contacting Julie at Coconut Equestrian Center in Homestead too. She might be able to help. coconutpalmeq.com

Good luck. Most of the dressage action is of course up north 2 hours in Wellington. Plantation has some schooling shows - 1 hour north.

Ride Away Stables is a dressage barn in the Redlands area of Miami.
PM me for contact info.

Ascot Farm is very small and I think they only do hunter/jumper.
