I am looking for a summer riding camp for my teenage daughter and I. We both ride and show 2'9" and have many years riding experience, but do not own our own horses. Does anyone know of a serious riding camp (not looking for the typical "camp" situation) that would provide suitable horses for this type of experience in either the US or Canada?

International Riding camp in Ellenville NY.

It's traditionally a boarding camp for girls but the director does mother daughter weekends and weeks off season and may be able to make you a 'custom camp'

Tell arno Christina Robbe sent you...

Sorta on the same note, Pony Farm in Temple, NH does similar family and mother-daughter weekends. They have regular riding camp for girls 7-14 during the summer, which I highly recommend since I was a camper and now currently work at as a counselor. I also did the father-daughter weekend once, which was tons of fun. If you have any questions feel free to PM me!
