View Full Version : Wedged stirrup pads....

So after a jumping lesson a couple of days ago, my left ankle has been KILLING me. I have never had any problems with it before and its not the joint as much as the ligaments on the left side(outside) of my left ankle. I know that when I jump my feet always point forwards instead of slightly to the outside like they should be. I was wondering if maybe the wedge pads will help alleviate this pain??? I feel that if the left side of my foot is a little higher than the ball of my foot it will help...

What's your opinion? Anybody have the same problem I do???

Yup, just like those! I feel that since I have my feet pointed forwards that I am pushing the outside of my ankle down more than I should.

I need to ask a stupid question- does the higher side of the wedge go on the inside or outside of the stirrup?

For some reason I picture the wedges making your toes turn IN more rather than out.. (Which is what I need as I am perpetually duck-footed in my stirrups!)
