I'm having a terrible time finding a close contact saddle pad that fits my saddle. Does anyone know a good one that I can use under my close contact saddle with and without a half pad. I don't want it too thick or too thin and would love it to have a trim. I've seen the baby pads that are just a thin quilting and don't think that will work at all. Any suggestions?

Are you looking for a shaped or square pad? I have a bunch of the $9.99 square cotton pads from Dover. They fit well, with or without a half pad, and hold up to daily wear and washing- my only complaint is that they do fade rather quickly, but at 10 bucks they are a great deal. I also have a few baby pads from Smartpak- they are nice and light, easy to wash and look beautiful monogramed.

Sorry. Should have stated that I'm looking for a square pad. The cheap Dover ones are too thin for what I need and I find that they slip alot and the thicker ones are all all purpose size and dwarf my saddle and horse.
