The four year old dapple gray mare, Sonata sounds wonderful. (http://www.leightonfarm.com/LeightonHorses.htm)

To learn more about www.helpfortbs.org (http://www.helpfortbs.org), check out their website. Horses through Thoroughbred Placement and Rescue can be seen both at the track or through Leighton Farm off the track.

I cannot say enough good things about Kimberly Clark and her program for placing OTTBs. She puts them all into a program where they learn to crosstie, have manners, hack out cross country, ride indoors and so on.

I got a gem of a horse from her - a dead quiet, 4 year old, 17+ hand dapple gray gelding. He stood on cross ties, walk, trot cantered quietly, and understood voice commands on the longe when I got him after his only being off the track for 4 months.

Kim trains with Jim Wofford and Elizabeth Madlener and applies everything she learns to the placement horses. I can't toot her horn enough.

Now, someone go snap that Sonata up! What a gorgeous girl!

Awww....she's a carbon copy of my 3 year old filly! They could be sisters! Of course mine doesn't have any white on her legs, but the color is the same.

She is a cutie, but it's Finnegan, who is more up my ally. I always wanted an Irish x. That would be <3

Wow, I didn't know Special Times was listed there, whom ever got him got one VERY nice horse! I've galloped 2 of his babies and took one home to retrain. His babies seem to be very laid back, great movers, fabulous minds, very good jumpers/event horses. I was in touch with Special Time's old owner and I am so happy he's found a good place for him. Very cool! If anyone knows who has him, I have pictures of the 2 I galloped as well as Times Past, who I brought home and retrained.

Oh, dear. This site is like OTTB porn. I want one, dammit!

Someone needs to check out NOTION on the "looking for a home" page — what a great eye he has!

Check out Warwick's movement. Beautiful trot and huge canter stride. I wonder what he'd be like over fences.

I'm sure Kim would be happy to share any info. She is at trainer@leightonfarm.com.

I'd bet Kim would be able to tell you where he ended up. If not, Godstone is located here. (http://www.godstonefarm.com/ContactUs.html) A cell phone is listed. I was doing research on a horse who had done a lay up there some time ago and called the cell number, left a message, and she called me right back.

I really like Kim and she has a fantastic eye for the OTTBs. I got my current riding horse from her in Nov last year (you can see him on the Graduate's Page, Star of the East)

She tells you honestly what she knows about the horse and really wants to match correctly.

Snippy (he has no star, but does have a big snip) is currently schooling 2'6" with ease, we've done a bit of XC and dressage.

I love her too. I think she does a phenomenal job. I like how they all immediately go into her program. I like how she rides them out, etc as well so they get used to the 'real world' vs track life. She does an amazing job. I am THRILLED with my guy.
